Spam is a unpleasant fact of life for most computer uses as it adds unnecessary confusion to account with the unwanted email and the wanted email. People are often angry with the pushy ways spammers use to get you, the user to open the spam. Anyone who is a computer user gets junk emails everyday, as millions of spam is sent daily.
It doesn’t matter if you don’t like getting spam. You will still receive it if you work on the Internet with your computer. People believe that they have to accept this as it is a fact of life for being online.
The spammers have an organized plan for their ads. They know that if just a handful of people click on the links in these emails out of thousands of unsolicited spammy emails , they just got lots of leads to keep them busy awhile. And so the spammers keep doing the same thing all over again, like a proven formula.
If an ad is sent continually to people over a period of time, some computer users are bound to open the spam and click on the link to find out more. People who do the spamming know that it is only a law of averages, and some people will be interested in what they have to say. How do spammers find your address? They use a Spambot, a program that spammers apply in order to capture various email addresses to sent junk email. This an effective method to grab as many addresses as they can for unsuspecting computer users.
Spammers use Internet Service Providers to find different user names of people who are computer users. They use combinations of different names and use these addresses to mail out the unwanted junk email. They will eventually get legitimate email addresses out of this method and the person receives the email.
When you surf the Internet, be wary when you sign up for a mailing list when you are visiting a website. Make sure that the owner of the website states that they do not give away your email address or other personal information. You do not want to fall into a trap where a website will start to send you spam.
Many companies such as AOL or Yahoo have built in spam filters that block certain words or junk before it even gets to your mailbox.
